Planning Change

I anticipate that this team dissemination project will go smoothly with the group I have chosen to work with this semester. I have no doubt that my group and I will work productively, have fun, and complete this project and its assignments on time. My group and I will accomplish this through effective communication, good time management, and proper prioritization. Our communication plan for the project involves engaging in our iMessage group chats, working with shared documents , emailing each other ideas and work for us to peer edit, and communicating in class discussions together. I worked with this group last year for evidence-based practice 1, and the communication level between us all worked out great. In regard to conflict management, my group will share our scheduling conflicts with each other for each week, and work as a group when delegating tasks. Even though we will be splitting work among the group, each group member will be peer editing every piece of work submitted and adding to it if necessary. A benefit of working with this group is that we have the same course schedule for classes except for clinical hours. Another benefit of working with this group includes the fact that we lived together last year and sit together during and in between classes. Some barriers we might come across during the semester when working on the project is the fact that my group and I all live in separate towns and may find it hard to find times to meet up. Distance can be solved through zoom meetings and schedule sharing, which my group and I plan on doing. Working in a group and completing a research project regarding labor and delivery topics will help me in my future nursing career. This semester project will help me by helping me prioritize, use effective communication, and learn how to work collaboratively and appropriately with other healthcare team members.
