Reflection (2)
I am reflecting on my peer review assignment to be able to demonstrate the following:
-Be able to critique their own and others’ work by emphasizing global revision early in the writing process and local revision later in the process.

I peer reviewed my other group member’s pdf by copy and pasting the sentences I was referring to with my comments. I also ended with a 200 word end comment.
- What do you think it shows? Is this an area where you are showing skill or where you still need to develop? What steps can you take to improve in your next two papers?
- What role does this skill play in your writing process? Is this something you already do, or something you need to emphasize more in your writing?
I think these artifacts show my ability to peer review an essay. One is a snapshot of me leaving marginal comments on my peer’s paper, and the other artifact is a link to my other peer review that included specific sentences being copied and pasted. I believe that I show skill in this subject because I now know what to look for when reading someone’s essay and how to properly express my criticisms. Steps I will take to improve in my next two papers involve memorizing the specific types of comments to make such as perspective, and textual engagement comments. In my writing process, peer reviewing is a skill that plays a big role. Peer reviewing allows for me to catch people’s mistakes, but it also prevents me from making these same mistakes that I catch. This is something I already do with mt friend’s papers and papers of my own. I like to edit my papers heavily before passing in a final draft, so I try and edit it as if it was not my essay.
